I’ve put off writing this review for ages because I didn’t know how to accurately describe how much I love this game. One of the best games I’ve ever played – and still in early access. There is also a story (if you’re interested) which consists of frequent walls of text, but thankfully the game lets you skip all of it. Appreciate that. I’m not playing this for the story. But following the main quest line is very trial and error. Got a quest to go to a level 4 dungeon to progress the campaign? You’d think the general “level” of the creatures inside the cave would be at or around the level of the dungeon. But you would be wrong and you’re in for a few unpleasant surprises. The leveling system alone is also overly/unnecessarily convoluted.
