The combat itself is quite unique for vehicular combat game: you don’t just maneuver in a small area, like Twisted Metal or Vigilante 8, or use more tactical approach like in Ex Machina or Interstate. In Fumes, you’ll drive along with your opponents through big areas, while fighting. It’s an interesting experience. you have a big map and you finish events such as kill spawns of enemies and capture convoy. With some bosses and increase in difficulty. It might be repetitive a bit, but the game is well made, and it’s pleasant to play it for what it is. I was waiting for this game for a long time and oh boy did it not disappoint. While having a strong retro feel and aesthetics, everything is done so well and polished.
